Episode 01 – Advice to my 25 years old self

No Regrets in Life. Just Lessons Learned

I met Steve on my way to Singapore, which also means that I am writing this from my hotel room in Singapore. My flight to Singapore has two connections, Charlotte to New York to Hong Kong then to Singapore. I met Steve through a strange and interesting circumstance on my American Airline flight from Charlotte to New York, both of us were sitting in First Class. I did not know that I was upgraded to first class until I was boarding the plane. The flight was suppose to depart from Charlotte to New York at 10:00pm but at 10:30pm we hadn’t boarded. I was super frustrated because our original plane coming from Aruba was changed to another one coming from Boston in the last minute. The plane from Boston was late. During boarding since I was super impatient that  I might not make it to New York to catch my next flight that leaves at 1:30am to Hong Kong or if I make it by running after I land in NY, my back might not make it to Singapore with me. I decided to board with Group 1, although my ticket said Group 3, so that I can go to my seat and eat the chick-fil-a I bought and while being depressed about the whole situation.

The airport is always noisy and the  I don’t know if people would want to have conversations that I have with them recorded. I start off by chit chatting with them about other things. I always have a book on me whenever I am traveling and I have noticed that books are really good conversation starters. As we talk about different books and topics then I hit them with the above question. It gets them thinking for a bit and then they respond.

First American Wedding

Before I start this post. I want to let something out of my system. I FORGOT MY PHONE WHEN I LEFT MY HOUSE FOR THE WEDDING. I like posting most of the things that I am up every single day on both snap and insta stories. I think it’s a way for me to tell my story but like to tell my stories for the day, that’s how I keep the world posted on what I am up to. I have two phones but for some stupid reason which I have not come to terms with forgot to bring neither of them to the wedding. So you won’t be seeing any picture from the wedding. I could go on instagram and screenshot the picture of the bride and groom but heck NO. I am going rogue on this post. The good thing was that I was able to socialize throughout the ceremony without having the urge to check my phone in between activities, but it still sucks that I do not have any picture of that night moments.
